I was born in 1974, and began selling paintings at the age of 15. In the mid 90s I had several successful exhibitions in Dublin and Paris. I now concentrate on eBay sales through which I have reached a worldwide market. My style of painting has often been described as abstract, impressionist, expressionist and other similar variations ("A sort of post-modern impressionism" -Nova Magazine, Paris, 1996). My original paintings are in public and private collections throughout Ireland and Europe. I have also had many buyers in the USA and Canada and some of my paintings have gone to South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.
'The Bride in the Garden' by Diarmaid Killeen. An impression of a girl in a white dress surrounded by wild flowers and vegetation. This is a perfect example of my style of painting, which often mixes impressions of reality with backgrounds that are highly abstract. It was sold in September 2003 to a private collector in Dublin. 'House Party' by Diarmaid Killeen. Sometimes I like to have some fun with a painting, which is how this cartoon-style house packed with revellers appeared on my canvas:-) It was sold in May 2007 to a private collector in Germany.
